Metropolitan Onuphry (Berezovsky)
How were simple fishermen able to spread the news of the Resurrected Christ throughout the whole world? Why do we not bury the dead on Pascha? Do we have to fast before Communion during Bright Week? His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry speaks on these and other issues in this interview.
Igumen Nektary (Morozov)
The feast of the Resurrection of Christ is the most important for Christians. “Enjoy ye all the feast of faith: Receive ye all the riches of loving-kindness,” St. John Chrysostom summons us in his catechetical word on the feast of Pascha. The joy of the resurrected Savior is appointed for every man on earth, but not all know about it and not all understand how to join in this common exaltation. Igumen Nektary (Morozov) talks about how to share the joy of Pascha with others.
On the occasion of the glorious feast of our Lord's Pascha, our primates from around the world sent epistles of joy to their faithful flocks.

St. Sergius of Radonezh Orthodox Church Sargodha Pakistan
On this brightest and greatest day, may your hearts be filled with warmth and joy. May the news of our Risen Savior dry the tears of all those in sorrow in suffering.
It is the day of Resurrection! Let us be illumined, O ye people! Pascha! The Pascha of the Lord from death to life and from earth to heaven has Christ our God led us, as we sing a song of victory. (Paschal Canon, Ode I)
It is the Day of Resurrection! Let us be radiant, O people! Pascha! The Lord's Pascha! For Christ our God has brought us from death to life, and from earth unto heaven, as we sing triumphant hymns!
Metropolitan Hilarion (Kapral)
The feast of feasts and triumph of triumphs has arrived for us, brother archpastors, right honorable fathers, brethren and sisters beloved in the Lord! Let us all greet the Resurrection of Christ and not hide our feelings: "Let us be divinely glad, for Christ hath risen as One omnipotent.
“If Christ is not resurrected, then our preaching is in vain.” The words of the Apostle Paul reach us through the centuries. The central meaning and foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ, God become Man. He lived among people, was put to death, but rose from the dead.
New Hieromartyr Hilarion (Troitsky), Archbishop of Verey
Pascha of incorruption… The ancient inheritance is returned… Our seminary theology talks about some legal accounts between God and man. Sin is called for the most part a crime against God, an offense against God, for which God’s justice must take revenge against the despicable offender. But the Church first of all calls sin corruption, the loss of our ancient inheritance: incorruption.
Monk Parthenius
For the Christians the greatest feast days and festival were approaching. The time of joy and sorrow was approaching. We rejoiced because of this, that we would receive the new grace of the heavenly Fire, and celebrate the most radiant festival of Holy Pascha in the Holy City of Jerusalem. Yet we grieved in heart that the time was coming for everyone to part.
Of all the days the Holy and Great Forty Day Fast is the most distinguished, but more than the Holy Forty Day Fast the Holy and Great Passion Week is exalted, and more than the days of Holy Week Great and Holy Saturday is the most exalted. This week is called great not because these days or hours are more exalted but because the great, portentous and extraordinary deeds of our Savior were accomplished during this week, but especially on this day.
