Moscow, February 28, 2011
On March 1, 2011, beginning at noon, an international Pro-Life group together with the Russian social movement, "Family, Love, and Fatherland" will picket the Moscow "MedHelp" clinic. Because of its notorious promotion of abortion, the clinic has earned the name "Death factory" among the pro-life advocates. Representatives of the pro-life movement have announced that a priest of the Orthodox Church will be present at the demonstration.
The MedHelp clinic made its cynical attitude toward abortion and the Church obvious during the Christmas season. On the very day the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates the Nativity of Christ, the abortion clinic at MedHelp conducted a previously advertised half-price special on abortions.
The picketers intend to "tear off the mask from the face of this bloody business" and show documentary films about the victims of abortion.
