On February 13, by decision of the Council of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, a new diocese has been opened in the central city of Kruševac, reports the official site of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
Bishop Jovan of Šumadija will perform the duties of temporary administrative rule in the diocese until the spring meeting of the Council of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, at which the new diocese will be appointed its own bishop.
