Humanitarian Aide gathered by the Synodal Charity Department was sent to Kyrgyzstan

Moscow, June 25, 2010

On June 25, an airplane loaded with humanitarian aide collected by the Synodal Department of Charity and Social Services arrived in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.

The cargo weighed 400 kilos, and included 145,000 rubles (4,680 USD) worth of medicines and wound bandaging materials. Transportation and documentation of the aide was made possible by the Russian Ministry of Emergencies.

Also included in the delivery were packages for local Church administrators, Archpriest Victor Reimgen, the Dean of Osh and rector of the Church of Archangel Michael in Osh, and Archpriest Igor Dronov, secretary of the Bishkek diocesan administration.
